Horizontal

Horizontal HDPE and PP tanks

Above-ground on cradles or underground. Reliable storage for chemicals, wastewater and other liquids when height is limited.

For reliable storage of chemicals, wastewater or other liquids, a horizontal HDPE or PP tank is the right choice when height is limited. It combines strength and durability, and is easier to install than steel or concrete.

HDPE resists aggressive products and corrosion. PP adds heat resistance, useful for food duty and potable water. EELIX sizes each tank to the fluid, capacity, temperature and site.

Benefits of a horizontal tank

Two different materialsHDPE for acids and bases. PP for heat, food duty and potable water — not the same choice.
DurabilityRobust materials, long service life, limited maintenance.
Easy cleaningSmooth walls, full drain-down, high-pressure wash.
Light weightEasier to move and install than metal or concrete.
Custom optionsLids, valves, gauges, fill pipes and custom nozzles.

Selection covers capacity, temperature, chemical compatibility, durability and process accessories.

Chemical plants, water treatment, food sites and industrial cleaning: EELIX horizontal tanks fit wherever low-height storage is required.

Horizontal HDPE tanks

HDPE is the usual choice for corrosive industrial duty. Above-ground on cradles, installation is faster than burying a tank: no excavation, the unit can be moved, filling and emptying stay at a convenient height.

Horizontal PP tanks

PP / PPH is not HDPE. It suits hotter processes, food duty and potable water. Above-ground on cradles or underground: capacities and fittings are calculated for the PP fluid, without reusing an HDPE layout.

Above-ground tanks on cradles

Faster to install than buried tanks, and they can be moved without damaging the ground. Ideal where excavation is difficult or permits are constrained. Cradles keep the tank at a convenient height for filling and emptying.

Underground tanks

Buryable tanks store water, process water, effluents or other compatible fluids. They combine heat resistance, corrosion resistance and a controlled cost.

They secure the storage, protect it from weather and free up ground area. The shape can follow the site — industrial, food or municipal.

For sensitive products they must meet containment, leak-detection and environmental rules. EELIX sizes and builds to the quality and safety standards of the project.
