Tanks travel chocked and strapped on trailers matched to the load size. Exceptional convoys are organised with permits, the route and an escort when one is required.
On arrival, tracking stays active through to the site: the delivery slot, access and handover to the positioning teams.
The driver and the escort, when one is required, stay reachable during the trip. EELIX sends the arrival slot so the site can prepare access and unloading.
The tank is then taken over for positioning, as close as possible to its final place.
