The company
About 300 single- and double-skin tanks leave our shops every year in HDPE, PP, PVC and PVDF. Plants for corrosive liquids, concentrated acids, strong bases, effluents and compatible food liquids.
When the group left this activity, EELIX took over the tools and know-how for solid extrusion-winding.
Based in Herstal (Belgium) and Albert (France), with more than 25,000 m² of production space, EELIX builds seamless monobloc tanks up to 100 m³, to EN 12573-2.
Innovation starts with listening. Teams study each project and propose solutions that respect the client’s goals, the ideas of the people involved, and the environment.
EELIX designs, builds and delivers tanks and turnkey plants worldwide for corrosive liquids, concentrated acids, strong bases, chemical effluents and compatible food liquids.
As an integrated manufacturer, EELIX masters the latest plastics processes. Each technique matches a volume, a liquid and a site constraint.
The technical team covers materials, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, electrics and automation. As a manufacturer, EELIX stays competitive against products that are often imported.
Raw materials come from leading European suppliers and are checked on receipt. Every manufacturing step is quality-controlled. Measuring tools are recalibrated on a regular schedule.
Drawings, 3D models and calculation notes are produced in-house, from the process sketch through to fabrication drawings. Each tank is sized for the fluid, the temperature, the density and the site constraints.
This combined control — design, manufacture, inspection — avoids back-and-forth with a subcontractor. The client has a single contact from the preliminary study through to commissioning.
Equipment is packed and carried by specialists in complex, often out-of-gauge convoys. Partners are chosen for the quality of their work. Tracking follows every delivery, worldwide.
When EELIX carries out the installation, lifting is entrusted to contractors selected for site safety. Fitters and pipefitters supervise placement and assembly.
The load is prepared in the workshop: chocking, strapping and nozzle protection. Size, weight and route are confirmed before departure, with an escort when the load size requires one.
On arrival, the teams take over the tank for cranage and positioning on the slab. Tracking stays active through to the final position, in France and abroad.
From the design stage, EELIX builds in operations, maintenance and the working conditions of operators.
Access to equipment is designed with walkways, ladders and stairs: rigid structures, approved guardrails and anti-slip grating.
From preliminary design to commissioning, EELIX brings turnkey plant know-how, adapted to each site.
EELIX’s first asset is its people. Everyone’s well-being is part of the company’s project. Communication is open with employees, clients and partners. Following laws and regulations is how the trade is lived, and how industrial sites are served.
That commitment shows up in the daily work: qualified welders, incoming material checks, technical files and tests before delivery. At the Herstal and Albert sites, operator safety and the reliability of the installations run through every step, from design to commissioning.
The teams stay involved after delivery: operator training, technical manuals, start-up support and checks on existing installations. Each site is followed as a shared project, with the same quality requirements as in the workshop.
