Horizontal

Horizontal PP tanks

Above-ground on cradles or underground. PPH for hotter processes, food liquids and potable water when height is limited.

For reliable storage of hot, food-grade or potable liquids, a horizontal PP / PPH tank is the right choice. It combines thermal resistance, chemical durability and a low height requirement.

PP goes further than HDPE as soon as the temperature rises. Handling and installation stay simpler than steel. EELIX sizes each tank to the fluid, capacity, temperature and site constraints.

Benefits of a horizontal PP tank

Heat resistancePPH suits hotter processes than HDPE, up to about +90 °C depending on the fluid.
Food and potable waterSuitable for food liquids, drinking water and many clean processes.
Chemical resistanceGood corrosion resistance across a wide range of industrial products.
Easy cleaningSmooth walls, full drain-down, simple high-pressure wash.
Light weightEasier to move and install than a metal or concrete tank.

Selection covers capacity, temperature, chemical compatibility, expected service life and process accessories.

Food, potable water, higher-temperature chemistry and industrial cleaning: EELIX horizontal PP tanks fit wherever low-height storage is required.

Sizes and capacities are tailored to each project. Options: lids, safety valves, level gauges, fill pipes and custom nozzles.

Above-ground tanks on cradles

Above-ground tanks on cradles are versatile for hot, food-grade or chemical liquids. They have several advantages over buried tanks or chassis-mounted vessels.

Installation is faster: no excavation, and the tank can be moved without damaging the ground. Ideal where digging is difficult or excavation permits are constrained. Cradles keep the tank at a convenient height for filling and emptying.

PP / PPH gives a long service life and strong thermal performance. Capacities and fittings (valves, gauges, nozzles) are calculated for the PP fluid — an HDPE layout is not reused as-is.

Project options include drain valves, fill inlets, pressure gauges and level indicators to make storage easier to run.

In short: a flexible, durable, fast-to-install solution for hotter or food-grade liquids.

Underground tanks

Buryable tanks store water, process water, effluents or other compatible fluids. They combine heat resistance, corrosion resistance and a controlled cost.

They secure the storage, protect it from weather and free up ground area. The shape can follow the site — industrial, food or municipal.

For sensitive products they must meet containment, leak-detection and environmental rules. EELIX sizes and builds to the quality and safety standards of the project.
