Single wall — economical and durable. A bund is mandatory for polluting liquids (chemicals, fuel oil).
Double wall — for acids, fuels and fertilisers, the second skin retains any leak. A detector signals liquid in the interstitial space.
Dimensions, thicknesses, shapes and systems vary with the need and the budget. A double-wall tank suits acids, bases, chemical effluents, wash water, fuels, fertilisers and food-grade liquids. Unlike metal, thermoplastic resists the effects of chemicals.
